No More Vampires Please!

Dear Jen,

Really? I mean really?! Vampires? Oh, and not just vampires, no, that’s not enough. They have to shift into animals and fly through walls and read each other’s thoughts. REALLY?

You hate me, don’t you? No, don’t answer that question. I don’t want to know. Oh, I learned from Ana’s characters and did a little digging in your head. Let me just say I do not like the ideas you have for future books. That clan of Asian vampires is especially scary and I hope you never really get to bring them into the story. Holy crap. With all the evil plots you already have in mind for me, you’re still thinking of more vampires? More bad guys?

I think I’m a pretty tough girl, don’t get me wrong, but um … sometimes I think you have a little too much faith in me. Remember, I’m new to this vampire stuff. Keep that in mind. New. Say it with me. N-E-W. As in still adjusting, you know?

And for the record, I would still like to go back to being a squishy human. Can we do that? After all the vampire butt-kicking, of course.

Thanks,

Jenna Marx

Asian vampires? Interesting. It’s not easy being the main character in an epic level story, or any that comes from these too authors so I can sympathize with you, Jenna. Though, in future books you won’t be as new to the vampire scene. Still newer than many since they live so long but not quite as new as the first book. And despite some things I’ve heard, I’m betting you’re stronger than even you think and once those scary ones show up, you may surprise yourself.

Is it possible to return to human? There are some that follow the vampire type where if the creator is killed the ones turned will be human again. I don’t know much about vampires in general, so good luck with that one.

What a fun post. I do believe our characters would like to chew us out for the trouble we drop them into. I’ve been writing a serial where I am trapped in the fictional world I created. And one character is truly upset with me, for not considering the cost of my meddling with their lives — she’s already tried to kill me once over it.

    Have a great weekend, Roland

Roland!! Thanks SO much for stopping by! It’s wonderful to see you over here. I’m glad you came to visit.

Yes, our characters can be a bit annoyed with us, but that’s the way it supposed to be – like fighting siblings!

Dawn – I have no idea if it’s possible. But since Jen likes to pretend she is god, I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask …

Roland – I would never kill Jen! She’s awesome! I just wish she would make me a princess instead of a vampire. Pfft. Though I’m sure Jalmari wants to kill Jen… and me, for that matter …

Anastasia – What? Can’t we all just get along? In other words, can’t you and Jen cut us some slack?

No, Jenna, none of you guys can go back to being human. Sorry.
