Introducing Drache and Rosyani

Greetings. I am Prince Drache Kestar, heir to the throne of Enthril. The lovely faena you see next to me is my beautiful wife, Rosyani. She is one of the best things in my life and I thank the Gods everyday for allowing me to be a part of hers.

As my parents run Enthril into the ground, Rosyani and I use what little power we have to help the citizens of our land. It is a heavy burden to watch the faeries suffer, but one smile from Rosyani or one hug from my baby sister, Karina, gives me the strength to soldier on.

~*~

Stop, Drache. You are embarrassing me.

~*~

What? It’s the truth! Don’t worry, love. I won’t tell them all your secrets or anything like that.

~*~

I do not have any embarrassing secrets.

~*~

Oh? What about when I tickle….

~*~

I know what you are going to say and you will regret it if you say anything more.

~*~

*laughs* Fine, love. We’ll just keep that our little secret. *wink* Now, what was I talking about? Oh yes, Enthril. Like I said, my parents prefer their life of luxury. I know, who wouldn’t right? But would you – at the expense of innocent families? I’m disgusted with my parents and count the days ‘til I am King.

~*~

You truly count the days? And how long till you assume the throne?

~*~

Unless my father dies before hand? 152,205 days or 417 years.

~*~

*shakes head* I think it is sad that you know that.

~*~

Why? It’s important to me. I can’t fix anything until I’m King. Plus, it’s the same day as my 500th birth anniversary. Very important day.

~*~

I know. Can we just continue with this blog please?

~*~

Of course, love. Why don’t you continue?

~*~

Fine. Should I talk about how you and I met? No, I should save that for when people read the book. Well, I am the oldest of five: one brother and three sisters. My brother is the only one I am close to. I used to think it was because he and I are so close in age. When I turned fifteen and my powers did not appear as they should have, I realized that my sisters and I were never truly that close.

After years of painful doctor’s visits and torment from my own family (and everyone else in Achatar), I finally ran away from home. I met Drache, but you will have to read the book to get the full details.

I am happier than I have been in many, many years. Living in Enthril with Drache has brought light into my life. He is very understanding and patient, everything I need to heal from the wounds of my past. I would have surely died of despair without him.

~*~

Now you stop. You’re embarrassing me.

~*~

*laugh* Well, why don’t we close this up so Anastasia can have her body back? She needs to return to editing our story.

~*~

And finish Chapter 8!

~*~

What is so important about Chapter 8? Oh. *blush* Right. *nervous giggle*

~*~

*wiggles eyebrows* Exactly. Now, let’s go find Karina and have a picnic.

(Note: 'faena' is a female faery (so in essence "woman" or "girl"))
